Working with older people requires special skills and we are constantly seeking to employ and nurture staff who will provide the best of empathetic care to our residents.

All staff take part in our Staff Orientation Programme when they commence employment at our facility and they are required to attend regular ongoing training. A registered nurse is employed specifically to offer education and training to our staff and she also regularly monitors their level of competency.

All staff are expected to have or obtain their first aid certificate. All staff handling food must have their Food Handling Certificate and care staff are expected to have or work towards a recognized aged care qualification. All senior care staff are registered nurses.

Current best practice is implemented within all our facilities.
